Judy Coffey, M. Div. is Pastoral Associate at the First Congregational Church of River Edge. Judy visits our members who are ill at home, hospitals and/or nursing homes. She also keeps in touch with our homebound members who are unable to be with us due to illness, caregiving and/or distance.

Judy is also a coordinator for the Caring and Sharing Grief Group that meets each Tuesday morning from 10:30 to Noon in our library. She also when requested by the pastor officiates at Worship Service and Funeral Services.

Michelle L. Heinzinger

Director of Christian Education

Director of Christian Education since 1985, is a graduate of William Paterson University with a B.A. in Elementary Education and advanced credits in school Administration. As Director of Christian Education she overseas the Church School program for three-year-olds through Confirmation. Michelle serves as the advisor to our Senior High Pilgrim Fellowship.

At Church, she is on the Altar Guild, a member of the Rachel Circle and President of Women's Fellowship. In service to our Juvenile Conference Committee for 19 years. She an her husband Stuart are the parents of four grown children and have three grandchildren.
